Kalamkari painting - Derived from the Persian words kalam (pen) and kari (craftsmanship), meaning drawing with a pen is an age old Indian Art. Traditionally, this art is practiced on textiles depicting deities and mythological scenes. I have incorporated the same style on canvas using pen & ink and acrylics.
